Officers of the Institute

The SS. Peter and Paul Institute of Theology is owned by the Archdioceses and Dioceses of the Ecclesiastical Provinces of Lagos, Ibadan and Benin City. The Ordinaries of the Dioceses in these Ecclesiastical Provinces constitute the Joint Episcopal Commission of the Institute who are otherwise the Proprietors of the Institute. The proprietors of the Institute are represented by the Archbishop of Ibadan as Moderator where the Institutes is domicile. The Moderator of the Institute has oversight responsibility over the activities and growth of the institute programme of the Institute. The director of the institute is the head of the institute. He is responsible to the moderator and the proprietors. He is of the institute and sees to its day-to-day running. The director ia appointed by the proprietors(Moderator) who communicate his appointment to Rome. The director in turn appoints other officers to aid in the smooth running of the institute.
